The next Morocco service trip is Dec. 27, 2022 to Jan 1, 2023!
Overview
The Morocco service program will provide volunteers with insight into various challenges faced by individuals living in rural communities. The program takes place in the southwest Moroccan countryside outside Agadir where volunteers stay in a traditional desert-rock home, enjoying authentic village-prepared food. Participants work, hands-on, with Moroccan health professionals at rural health clinics providing free healthcare assessments and medicine to rural villagers. Volunteers also participate in several school and village projects (farming, teaching English/Math) and may visit an Argan oil cooperative. A detailed day-by-day schedule will be provided closer to the date of the trip.
Who can apply?
The program is designed for participants over 18 years of age who reside in the US and Canada. Applications are reviewed and accepted on a rolling basis online.
Cost
The cost of the trip is $700 (excluding international airfare.) The price will include all domestic transportation, meals, and accommodations while in Morocco. The trip fee does not include international travel (i.e. home to/from Morocco).
Volunteers are responsible for collecting the full amount before departing for the trip. We encourage volunteers to actively fundraise in their communities and we will provide resources to help facilitate the fundraising process.
